Transitioning from Roundwound to Flats

Chiming in on EB Group Flats — the Group IV flats that now grace my '79 StingRay are neither stiff nor floppy. Their low pulling tension is great for the old truss rod. String-to-string feel is good. When they were new (installed on New Year's Day this year), I worried a bit because I really like the G. As they broke in, I found the strings mellowed equally and I still like the G.
