Treble Buzz and Feedback (I Really Need Help)

I recently had a 2 band Bartolini preamp installed in my Spector Legend 5 and as far as I can remeber I always get a loud annoying buzz and if I get close to the Amp or turn the volume up I get feedback. when ever I turn the treble down the buzz and feedback goes away but I get no highs for slapping or highs period. What should I do !?!?!?!!?!?! whats the problem
