Tremelo w/ Expression Control?

I just took a look and I actually couldn't find what the exp. part controlled on it (there's a couple trems- the stereo one controls the depth, but it doesn't say what the GD-120 did). It'd be more useful (in my eyes) if it controlled rate instead of depth.

The Gig-Fx Chopper is a tremolo built into a wah enclosure that can sweep the speed.

The 4ms Tremulus Lune can be ordered with expression control of speed.

Also, any ring mod (the Moog, the Copilot Android, etc) that has an expression input could also be used as a tremolo when the frequency is in the lower ranges.

bigchiefbc hit on several points I was going to make.

In the spendy options, Steve at Empress told me at one point he could mod my Tremolo for expression control of rate. And I know Mario at Robot Factory certainly could. And of course the Goatkeeper I believe comes with an expression control input.

You've gotta LOVE tremolo to get a Goatkeeper. I remember people paying hand over fist for used ones over at TGP when v2 came out and you couldn't get a new one.

But if you really, REALLY love tremolo you could also spend $900 on a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed].

Definitely fun and I love all things Lovetone but far from worth the price of admission at that price point.

At one point I was thinking it would be fun to have a pedalboard filled with rare, expensive and yet somewhat underwhelming pedals.

The Wobulator and MuTron Flanger would both definitely make the cut.

Most Lovetone stuff is crazy pricey these days. The only one that I've wanted to hear but haven't was the "?"

I'll have to dig it out but one of my best friends (who is now a studio guitar player/recording engineer) has a huge gear fetish and at one point had a whole board of just Lovetone pedals that I took a picture of. Brown Source, Big Cheese, Meatball, Ring Stinger, Doppleganger, ? and Wobulator. Everything but the Cheese Source which is just a combo of the Brown Source and Big Cheese.

I loved the Doppleganger on guitar but didn't love it nearly as much on bass. Love the Big Cheese's tone but it needs a blend on bass and the Brown Source wasn't my style of OD. The Meatball is the meatball (and at this point I'd get a Meatwad or Grinder instead) but still iconic and very cool. But the Ring Stinger and the ? were the two that I thought were most deserving of the crazy prices they command. Fantastic pedals both.

if u wanna do an overkill, i recommend the moogerfooger ring mod. super creamy sine wave and choppy squarewave VCAs. turn up the frequency and the waves will turn into a robot siren. plus u can hook some CV up to sync in.
