Trickfish Amps

This just is not true, go back and re-read the spec sheet and update your comment.

Unless I'm looking at a different spec sheet that's what I'm seeing. At 230Vac it puts out 900w @ 8 and 1050w @ 4 ohms. At 120Vac it says 700w for both 8 and 4 ohms.

It's a pretty nice amp with plenty of power in a compact package. Would've kept it if fit my tone profile better.

Wait a minute, I was commenting on the smaller module and you were commenting on the larger module??? If so, disregard my last comment.

Go ahead Guys speculate and talk all you want. The Folks behind Trickfish are Industry Icons, Certified Professional Bassists and Musicians. Yup I'm drinkin the Kool Aid. First kid on my block to own Trickfish. Liked the TF BH 1K so well I bought the 700 watt .5K as well. With either Head This Rig is Slammin. Two 210 V Cabs.

I am as far as I know the first person in the UK with the Bullhead .5K amp with the 210v.

Even with an 8ohm cab this rig is more than loud enough to be heard in an 8 piece funk band. I'm at just over halve the volume on the master. I haven't tried it in a rock setting yet, but I feel it will still hold its own.

Tonally, I would describe the .5K thick, clear and very punchy and very even across the fretboard and register of the bass. High fretboard stuff sings just as well as low end grooves. I haven't pushed the amp to its limits yet but it sounds very solid and doesn't feel underpowered unlike my Eden rig.

The cab is very cool as well, for a two ten i haven't noticed any loss of anything from switching from an eden 410XLT - Infact I think it has it provides a more solid low end than the 4x10. The depth of tone with this rig is amazing - using the 80hz on the bass EQ really is magic and it feels great playing through this set up - it really fills out the mix.

DI on it is extremely good also - even better post EQ. Blew me away when I first used - was so used to thin sounding DIs on amps and compared to sansamp /two notes - there was a noticeable warmth and quality yo the Trickfish DI... I realise with the sansamp etc there is the speaker sim etc and if I were using distorted tones would probably opt for the two notes as a di.

Hey guys! We are looking forward to a great NAMM show. This will be out first year up in Hall D with the "big boys" and we will have a few new items to try out. First, we are finally shipping and will be displaying the Trilobite Bass Preamp pedal that we displayed last year as a prototype. Second we will be showing a few new cabinets that we have been working on..... the first is a TF212V that is the same exact dimensions as our TF210V and packages two new 12" proprietary drivers that we developed with Eminence just for this cabinet. This TF212V is full and powerful with a different kind of focused mid response as compared to stacking two separate TF112 cabs. We are very happy with how it has turned out and look forward to hearing the feedback as we display it in the booth.

We have one more cabinet in the works that should be ready before NAMM but we are keeping the details under wraps until we are sure that we are happy with the end results :)

We are also excited to have several of our Trickfish Artists being featured at the Bass Bash Concert. The first night will kick off with Mike Bendy and Sam Smith and continue on with sets by Darryl Anders and Mike Pope.

We will do our best to keep you guys updated with photos and video from the booth :)

Thanks!

Ryan

Hey guys! Im once again blown away by the Bullhead 1K!!! I played an outdoor event with my newly acquired Epifani UL410 8 ohm 1000 watt cabinet and H O L Y S M O K E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been using a Bergantino CN212 4 ohm 700 watt cabinet and that was glorious, but, guests were sitting in and I heard my rig out front as if it were in the PA, it was not in the PA! Crystal clear, punchy and fat! I;m a devout TRICKFISH owner!!! God Bless, Richard Ruse, Mike Pope, Ryan and the rest of the crew at TRICKFISH!!!!!
Sincerely,
Richard Grossman
