Tried to sell my bass

I bought a new bass, so I went to my local shop to sell my old Squier VM P-bass, so that I could have groceries and such this week. Guy said he'd give me 100 bucks for it, and after some thought I walked out with new knobs and bridge/pickup covers. Groceries be damned, but boy was my wife pissed. "Why do you need two guitars?!?!"

Why indeed? I think it was worth it.

the facts:
im dating a girl i will probably marry.
my dad just got out of a divorce with my mom.
he told to buy everything i wanted before i got married.
that is why i have 5 basses, working on selling some and buying more.
my girlfriend doesnt like all my toys, but she cant do a whole lot about it.

ps-nice looking bass you have there, it looks lonely.
maybe you should work on some friends.
;)

I will also most likely marry my gf and she says as long as i can afford to get whatever I want.

She doesn't have a problem with my 70+ snakes or my 2000+ bottles of beer so my 7 basses are not an issue at all.
