Triplets with 2 fingers?

I never use my nail side. Never really thought of it. I guess it could help make you sound more 'picked.' I use 3 fingers. R-M-I style.

One thing to look at when your starting this is to make sure your able to to both R-M-I-(rest), R-M-I-(rest), gallop sound and the R-M-I, R-M-I, consistent sound and be able to know which your doing and switch back and forth.

(I hope that makes sense)

I don't know many time I caught myself throwing a rest in there when there wasn't supposed to be one.

See ^ - Steve Harris playing triplets!* Probably the only time he did... :eyebrow:

* Plugged straight into my PC, not wearing my magic slippers, bla, bla, bla...

Why does soundcloud mess everything up? The original waveform looks nothing like it does on SC. It looks like - well, how a waveform should - not all fat in the middle. And all the clipping? Or is that just my system??

I use the index-middle aternating method if each triplet is on one note. if it's a run, then I need to do a little planning and let my left and right hand have a talk about who's doin what. I've experimented with the 3 finger thing, and don't quite get it for triplets. WB
