Love the '79 Monaco yellow P! It would be perfect for a sunny afternoon (outside) festival type gig!
I don't know about that, the bass is so, so rare, it's value can only be speculated on currently. It is the only known example of the Monaco Yellow.
Well, I did not know that... so it's the only known example of a P w/that colour? I've seen same years Strats in Monaco Yellow for sale. Regardless, it's very nice and would still make me smile if I saw it played at a sunny afternoon outdoor festival. (they do have sun occasionally in Cornwall?)
