I thought all he would use is a bunch of compressors.
What I find interesting is him using a BDDI and XXL. I thought he endorsed (or was endorsed by) MXR and used the M-80, or whatever the bass DI is called.
yeah... thats so weird.. i thought a comp would be part of a his tone for sure.
Guess I should have posted the link to make the joke funny...

Ive got a feeling thats not everything he used. i know for a fact he used a morley wah in Death Magnetic.
i wonder what he uses the q-tron for?

he is a lot into funk music, atleast the internet says that. maybe he is giving some taste of it all to james, lars and kirk occasionally![]()

You should hear him tear it up on some old Infectious Grooves records.
Voodoo Lab, not Labs!
That bugs the hell out of me.
For distortion. Lots of bassists (who carry large stage rigs or have roadies) use a guitar amp for their distortion channel.
Strange considering he uses a wah for Orion, End Of The Line & For Whom The Bell Tolls. And theres no wah at all in his rig :S Strange stuff
