Truss rod adjustment tool needed

Hi,
I am looking for a fender type truss rod tool.I have this older type cross slotted nut for a flat screwdriver like tool.
I found one at stewmac but it is straight and looks exactly like a screwdriver.
The nut on my bass is kind of tight. I would like to have a tool that has a 90 degree angle so I can apply torque more easily.
I have not been able to find one doing a google search.

If the nut is tight, the safest thing would be to take the neck off an use a flat-blade screw driver. But make sure you're pre-stressing the neck before you start cranking things around. I'd start by LOOSENING the nut to make sure the threads are clear and it's turning OK. If it's really tight, you may need to remove the nut completely and lube the threads a little tiny bit.

It is the nut on my KSD bass.The trussrod had failed but my guitar tech was able to modify it by replacing the nut with the fender type and he also had to do some work on the heel side of the truss rod as well.It is now operational again. It is lubed and all the threads are clear but it still takes quite a bit of force to operate it now.That's why I'm looking for the tool.
