It was pitted when I got it, tried to drill it out to no avail. I don't know if an extractor will work at this point, only one ear of the hex nut left, had 2 1/2 when purchased. It is still threaded onto the rod from what I can see. But won't budge at all. It did go to the right a 16th. Was told by seller that the nut is wedge in the wood.
