Tuning on Shine - Collective Soul

Need a little help here - this is not a tough song from a bass perspective, but my guitar player and I can't seem to get the tuning right.

He thinks the tuning is drop d. I don't think he's completely right. Google turns up some mixed opinions. Drop d flat was one. I'm not even sure what that is.

Any thoughts?

Drop D or D standard will work. I play it on a 5 or 6 string in D Standard.

Yeah, it's in drop D, but down half a step. So, the guitar should be tuned to Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb
