I have a Christopher double bass, and the A string tuning peg is loose and has a rattle. Can anybody lend me some advice as to how i can fix it so it does not rattle?

Double Bass Tuning Peg Rattles

That part can come loose. but the tip of the tuning worm can also be loose. Also make sure the tuning paddle hasn't slight come un-welded.
