TV Jones Thunderblade Bass Pickups

Has anyone played the TV Jones Thunderblade pups yet?

I see where Fender has put them in one of their Custom Shop Proto Basses for this year.

I love the TV Jones guitar pickups but haven't had the opportunity to even see, much less hear the pickups in action.

So before my "GAS" gets the better of me, I figured I would ask the faithful at TalkBass!!

Love mine. Nice round full low end with sweet highs and both sound even better when digging in. Btw, I use TI flats with volume and tone on full.

Own them, yes. Played them, no. That project is next on deck, so hopefully later this year!
