What kind of bass did JPJ use on Achilles Last Stand? Did he ever use a Rick?

And what kind of bass does Troy from Mastodon use. Is it a Cort, or a Jackson...or what?

JPJ used an Alembic 8 string.

Don't know about the second guy.

I think JPJ was using a Fender J (flatwounds?) during that time period, doesn't sound like an 8 string to me....EDIT ok it does. Sorry, it's been a while. Soooo, I guess that would make it the Alembic 8 then, my apologies.

I believe dude from Mastadon plays a 4 string Warwick (thumb?).

troy uses a fender prophecy III. It was made in japan in the early nineties. You can find on ebay for about 3-400 dollars. They're beauties. Neck through body with active 3 band eq.
