Question 1: I have a 2006 44-02 which has a grounding buzz that I cannot locate. I have removed the bridge to make sure that the wire is making contact, I have touched up all of the solder joints and shielded the cavity with copper tape. I have continuity between all of the pots, grounds, and every where else. I have noticed that the wire gauge used for the wiring is VERY small, 22 or 24 AWG. I have also noticed that my 2007 55-02 has much thicker wiring, 16 OR 18AWG. Could the wire gauge be the issue? I'm stumped.
[DEL]Question 2: The 55-02 mentioned above is dead quiet, but has a less present/darker/not as crisp sound as my 44-02. It has the same mid setting as the 44-02, same new strings (DR sunbeams except with the "B"), new battery and same LH3 pups and pre (REV-0). Any ideas? Bad pup? Bad pot?[/DEL]
