Well, mine aren't EXACTLY the same:

So sue me.

First off, I would never ask a bassist why they have more than one of anything. BUT if I DID, they could satisfy me with 3 words, "To play them.".

Now if they weren't planning on playing them, just collecting them, like art, I'd shake my head, and say "It's a free country and you certainly have the right to do that but they are instruments, they were MADE to be PLAYED!"

Those Peavey's...those came out around '92-93, right? I remember seeing one for the first time, My jaw dropped, literally. Awesome collection.

BTW, how come 3 of them have a mini toggle and 2 don't?

i agree with you completely. all of my 'duplicates' have their own personality and inspire me to play each of them differently.

I can even go one step further, no two of my basses are set up exactly the same either! Each bass is it's own entity unto itself....
