Two pots one cap?

Oh, while were here lol.. Can anyone tell me what happens when you use more than one cap for one tone pot?
the cap works in conjuction with the resistor.... two caps would increase you capacitance of the rc circuit.... and the circuit would shunt to ground different frequencies. try it.... use some jumpers and add a cap in parallel to the one that's in there now....

Will the tone pots be for separate pickups (like a Strat)? If so, yes
Yes, jazz pickups. Thanks!

Probably not the best idea to have multiple tone controls, regardless of number of capacitors.

When the pickups are at the same volume, both tones will become masters.

It works on Strats, because with the pickup selector switch, the tones only interact when you use both pickups together.

LCR circuit.

The pickups are inductors, and every component has a certain amount of parasitic inductance.
oh yea....the pickup...i forgot about the pup....LCR circuit....not RC circuit....correcto mundo!!! But you don't normally change the pup, you change the size of the cap.... and he wanted to know what if you added another cap.... so I still should get full credit for my answer professor line6man...sir... :bawl: lol
Besides that...I'm OLD...cut me some slack..... raining on my parade..... man.... these kids today.... lol
