I just got a ampeg b25, and I had to replace both preamp tubes. Since both channels are independent of each other I used two different 12ax7 so I could get two different tones. now I am already planning on getting an A/B switch so I can switch channels on the fly.
My question, is would it be safe for the power section if I use an A/B/Y switch and run both preamp's at the same time to combine the sounds?
