I missed out on a set and still regret it.
I also asked if they ever considered making red tapewounds and they actually said "That's something we'd like to do" but that was years ago and I haven't seen any yet.
I have never seen anything like that outside of tapewounds! Who makes two tone roundwounds like that?
Piling on to the other requests. Curious what these are and where to get them.
Ibanez used to sell string sets like these; I bought a few of them, around 2001/2002 I think. They were factory-installed on the BTB.
If you sign up for their Roadie Club, they notify you when they drop a new Bubby set. They do them a couple of times a year and they change colors every time. But they usually sell out.
I think I remember my (at the time) brand new BTB 1005 OL had these straight from the factory back in the early 2000s. I might be wrong but I think the very first iteration of ELIXIR strings looked like this.
