U.P.S. = W.T.F.

I used to work for a company that made these expensive ironing board units that come out of the wall (which weighed anywhere from 70-90 lbs. and not flimsy, either).

Anyway, the stuff that didn't need to travel by semi was shipped by UPS.

You wouldn't believe the conditions they were in when some got returned to us because of damage; they were absolutely crushed.

To this day I swear someone was just running them over with a UPS truck because there's no other way they would be that ridiculously destroyed otherwise.

This wasn't just an every-once-in-awhile thing either; this was just about every other day.

When UPS delivers something to my house, the driver never rings the doorbell or knocks to let me know there is a package and just leaves it on the porch no matter if it is snowing, raining, etc. and could get damaged Also, there have been times that I was not home and come back to find a package left on the porch. Anybody could just pick it up and steal it easily and I would never know. I could be out of town for days and that can happen. Many other people I know have complained as well and stopped using UPS for deliveries and they are losing lots of customers. Nobody wants their packages stolen or damaged.

That's what they do unless a signature is required. If you're concerned about UPS leaving a package when you're away tell the shipper to make sure to require a signature upon delivery.

Was this the guy ?
