I think this belongs in the humor section just because of the ridiculous nature of what I just saw... if not mods please move it.
I'm sitting at my desk at home doing some work (and of course surfing TB). The desk is situated right next to the window in my room, which is at ground level. The UPS guy parks right in front of the house, but doesn't notice me. I just stay quiet and observe...
He locates three boxes from the back of the truck and THROWS them Brett Favre style into the middle of the road (by the way, Donald Driver, long time receiver for the Packers, insists that Favre has broken every one of his fingers during games, so he throws pretty hard). He checks his electronic 'clipboard' and proceeds to pick up one of the boxes. Two steps, and he chucks it again at my neighbor's door. He then picks up the remaining two, and again heaves them at my door. THUD THUD! I hope there was nothing fragile in those boxes.
I'm supposed to have a bass delivered in the next few days. If I see a repeat performance, I am going to go nuts. Now I've got to be vigilant to intercept this idiot before he does damage to my bass.
I've seen UPS guys be a little rough, but for the most part the guys on this route try at least a little to be careful. This buzz cut, 6'1'', 280 lbs moron looked happy only as he watched the flight of those boxes before they crashed against the concrete and surely damaged whatever was inside, unless they were pillows.
