Ok.....nothing i would be concerned with as long as the bridge functions well.
Not sure on replacements...some like hi mass bridges.

I gigged my Dyna 5 and my Millennium 4 last night for the first time and they both sounded great. They both were clear and articulate with a lovely bottom. Got lots of compliments on the old girls. Gonna gig my Cirrus six for its inaugural run next weekend. Maybe I will take it to a rehearsal this week.... I am really looking forward to getting it in the mix. That is the problem with having too many cool basses.... I am trying to get more gigs and playing opportunities so I can play them all. LOL...… I know it is a terrible problem to have.
I am somewhat the opposite, i dont gig and musically am a schooled trumpet player but love many types of basses and Peavey is always under-appreciated in the bass guitar field (partly because they never made much impact with 6 string guitar?)
I love to cop bass tones from fav songs covering many styles of music OR add my own thing.
I consider myself very lucky to have scored an 85 black on maple Foundation AND a 90's black on maple Foundation 5er for such stupid low money i actually felt a bit guilty (though both basses needed work which i did myself)....both are near perfect to me along with my 1st gen Fury and 89 Fury (i did install a tort guard on the white body w/black hardware and Duncan vintage P pickup on the 89).
So, 2 black body Foundation, 1 white body Fury and a natural 1st gen Fury, ALL my fav colors if i did gig....oh well!

If a player has a very good touch... I'd put a t60 next to just about anything ever made (yes I said ever)
shredders will commonly have love threads like this about a vandenburg or impact or wolfie
many country guys will use a generation as a "backup" or modification platform.
I get many studio calls to borrow my generation with fishman bridge piezo pickup
I still own a Peavey Tracer and see a few others around but in terms of sales numbers, you see much fewer Peavey guitars (im in Peavey country btw) as much as their amps, speakers and basses.....most of the guitars are entry level stuff and some mid grade with the occasional up grade shredder and Cropper here and there
Ive owned several Predators and other Peavey Strat and Tele copies etc with solid necks.....their best efforts overall in terms of innovation are bass guitars imho....not unlike Music Man, basses and amps were/are their thing.
Keep an eye out on eBay for another Foundation bridge in better condition.

In case anyone is interested - I have a couple Peaveys in the for sale section. One is a black and maple Foundation 5, the other is a T-20FL (factory fretless).
And, I just got this today... Cirrus 4+ 'custom shop' it's absolutely perfect - not a mark on it. The story I got from the GC guitar tech was that it was bought 4 months ago from Zoo Music in Dallas as a new/old stock bass. The guy who sold it to GC had medical costs, so he had to dump it. I feel for the guy. It's literally barely been played. I've never seen a Cirrus with a flamed spalted maple top so I jumped on it. Beautiful Birdseye neck, matching headstock cap - this is the best of the best.
Now the bad news - I played it for 10 minutes and realized I really can't justify having a four string. Everything I do requires a 5! So, I'm going to sell it for what I paid for it. Sigh. Uncontrollable GAS strikes again!

Wow, I looked at that very bass exactly one year ago at zoo music. It was manufactured by Peavey for the 2009 NAMM Show, and was New Old Stock up until about 6 months ago apparently. I'm shocked the previous seller tried to sell it at Guitar Center based on the original price.
Added a Foundation to the family today. A buddy picked it up for me so won't get to fondle it until next week! Can someone date it for me from the S/N? Thanks, Andy.
Serial says 1984. The Peavey P knobs are that era as well. A very early Foundation. Nice score.
