U.S. Peavey Club

Probably going to put my Peavey BQuad up for sale. She's white and in near perfect condition, except the D and G piezo pickups got disconnected somehow. I need to renew my Supporting membership so I can relist it the correct way here. I apologize. $1450 shipped.

Reactions: JEDI BASS
I have 3 year old 45-105 Cobalt flats on the Foundation. They are nicely broken in and thumpy now. I would call these a medium tension set. My 50-105 Chromes on a similar bass are much stiffer.
45-105 Elixir nickels on the Forum Plus. Just fine, not stiff nor flex-y.
45-105 DR Hi Def Green on the Patriot. Also just right for feel.
65-125 DR Hi Def Green on the Dyna Bass (BEAD). These are just on the tolerable end of low tension.
The DR Hi Def strings are a little muted on the high end vs typical strings (unlike the Elixirs which are quite bright) but that is fine, as they dial into slightly warmer tone which is my goal, anyway. They are also used in my 80s cover band and look great with matching neon green straps!
