Still on my quest to discover the perfect bass & amp settings for U2's Adam Clayton. There have been previous threads on the subject, but a lot has changed since the 360 tour.
Have any of you had success reproducing his sound? (I'm thinking of his style 2015-2019)
For the I&E tour, he was using an Ampeg cabinet - anyone know if Adam uses the horns in his cabinets? Turns down or off?
I'm using an Aguilar TH500 amp and 2 stacked Ampeg pf210 cabs with adjustable horns. Sunbeam nickel strings & my Fralin pickups are enroute. (I'm on a budget & just can't pull the trigger on a high end Ashdown ABM)
