U2 FANS. HELP

I think he was using Aguilar stuff back then. check out tone hammer vids maybe you'll like that. eq'd w high mids & some growly growl. turn up your gain, turn down your master vol. turn up tone knob on p bass.
 
I just hear that as an overdriven tube sound with a lot of mids pushed, using a P-bass. It's a good, grindy sound that cuts through nice. If it is an SVT rig he's using, it's awfully hard to make any of them sound bad.

The only basses he used during the Achtung Baby album were a 73 precision,72 precision and a Les Paul Recording bass with SVT amps.During that tour (Zoo TV)he used the 73 Precision and a 70's jazz delux.Amp wise he had 2x Alemic F28 pre amps and 1 SVT 11-p.

During war he did use jazz basses and SVT's but i can only get and give accurate info from 91 onwards.
