UA OX Box. Running high watt amps into it?

Howdy kids,

I figured I'd ask this on Talk Bass as Bass amp heads tend to be higher wattage than most guitar amps.

I'm thinking of getting a UA OX Box to use with a 140 Watt guitar amp. Am I going to blow up the thing? They claim it can handle an amp rated at 150 watts...

Completely different tool for a different need. The RNDI doesn't attenuate the signal, nor does it offer cabinet and mic simulation.

Are both measurements RMS? Program? Continuous? Peak? 140 may be less than 150, but if they are using different references, a "140W" amp could certainly exceed the capabilities of a "150W" load. There is a very good chance it will be fine, but details matter.
