Ugh, Wisdom teeth.

I had three out in one day and the other is still in there. Two were completely in so they were just pulled, the other one took a lot more because it wasn't through the gum, impacted and infected. I was off of work for a few days, but eating normally the next day. I know a guy that had his out, then went and played hockey later that day.

Got to my first Navy command in Virginia when I was in my very early 20's .. the Navy dentist took one look in my mouth and said: "You still have all your 3rd molars? They all have to be extracted per base policy!"

The first extraction caused a "bone chip" to happen.. thats a small piece of my jaw that was sitting loose in the deep, empty socket, so I just pried it out myself. The next time I showed up in his chair he agreed that he'll "pull only one molar" per my request.. so of course he rips two of them out! Dentists.. can't live with them, can't live without them.. but certainly am glad I got them all taken out when I was younger.
