What u guys think? I couldn't tell if this is just a parts bass or the real deal, but the guy seems honest...and for just over $2k, you couldn't go wrong...could you???

It's hard to tell. It looks like it for the most part, but there'sno fender logo on the headstock. Also, there is no date label at the bottom of the neck. But who knows?

That much missing...for 2 large. Could get one built almost any way you like & have some dough left over for a case.

Dig the leather PG...that's cool.

Ha, someone snagged it already...figures...if I had the $2,400 laying around to BIY it would've been worth the chance that it might be real.

I think the seller was offering a 30 day guarantee on it too - that seems be enough time to get the parts checked out and return it if it was a fakie. Dang...

interesting...but with no logo then again im sure by then it would have been half worn off...interesting a lot of money to throw down on something u cant touch...

Someone thought it was worth it... it's sold. For me the only major turnoffs were the sanded-off logo area, crack in the end of the headstock, and sanded-off date stamp on the neck heel. If those three things had looked more promising then I would have thought it a good deal, or at least a good gamble.
