Unbalanced line out??

Hi everyone,

Can I send the signal from my ampeg ba112 unbalanced line out into my ashdown mag300 combo's effects return to get through this latter one the ampeg's tone, as the ashdown effect return is preamp-free??.
If so, ampeg says that the output of the unbalanced line out is controled by the amp's volume, how can I control this?

Thanks

Your Ampegs line-out connected to your Ashdown Effects return would work and this would indeed be bypassing the Ashdowns preamp, and its "input" volume knob would most likely no longer function.

Your Ashdown does not seem to have a master volume knob, so If you connect them together like this, the volume level of both amps will only be adjustable by your Ampegs volume knob.
