"uncle mikes" bar in NYC (rant.)

i just got an email from someone asking about who the manager was that night, the date, ext, saying "immidiate action will be taken"

not that i think anything will become of this, but i guess you never know.

this is really just a bump, cause that email reminded me of how much that place sucks.

and also, i agree with people saying a "no minors policy is fine, the law on his side, ext ext." its the refund that is the real issue. people who litterally did not step into the bar, paid to see us..

Something may well become because of that. I don't know how easy bar/liquour/entertainment bussines is over there, but if it's anything like in here, un-needed negative publicity is the last thing they want.

It's the same that in every bussines. It's not about people having a good time, it's about making money. If they make the money, people having fun is just a bonus, which sometimes but not always guarantees them steadier income. Bars don't book bands out of the goodness of their hearts, they want to do bussiness.
