Which is supposedly (per Robert at PPCB) more or less a straight cop of Craig Anderton's Super Tone Control from Electronic Projects For Musicians. IIRC that was the second DIY musical electronics project I ever built, a very long time ago when the first edition of that book came out. I had two in a rack case back then, and as you say, it can get a lot of the SF-2 functionality pretty well.
