Underrated Basses?

Hi, i was wondering what basses you guys think are underrated??

Even though I love p-basses and j-basses I've noticed that about 75% of bass players on TV play them and it's just so refreshing when i see a bass player take out an oddball bass that sounds really good.

I personally think a lot of the vintage cheapo basses are pretty underrated like my 70' Harmony h22/1 (in my opinion the best bass) and i've heard stories about old univox basses being pretty good for the price. I also recently tried this really old Silvertone solidbody bass that had lipstick pickups and looked like one of them "Coral" guitars...it was friggin' great!

Personally I think the Ibanez GSR200 is underrated. I think it's a really decent bass, personally. I mean obviously it's not the best, but I still think it's something a pro could get away with using.

I play a Fender 5 Jazz Deluxe Qmt, but I really really like my 6 string from Tune Technology...this has got to be one of the most underrated basses out there. How many other basses allow you tweak the pickups like this one?

squire take a lot of beating on their bass's but to be fair for the price you pay you get a pretty decent lump of wood and strings

i have to agree with snarf of the Schecter's though i had a go on 2 in my local music shop and now pennies are being put away for one as i type
