Underrated Basses?

ATK! :p

I think Danelectros are majorly underrated overall though, guitars too.

Me and the Swami are on the same wavelength. It's a mystic thang.

I love my Danelectro "Dano-blaster" Rumor basses ($195 plywood p-types), they play great, weigh ~5.5 pounds, and with just a swap of some hardware, they are gig-ready monsters.

AND I just bought an ATK today at GC and this cheap bass is great sounding and versatile copping a mess of old-school tones! And that huge 62-P style neck! Man, if only it were 3 pounds lighter it would be perfect (probably all that extra metal they stuck on the front).

Peavet, Yamaha, MIJ Fenders and G & L's. It's amazing to me what people are paying for 70's Fenders which were made 10 years after Leo sold the company, have a poor reputation and are usually played hard or altered. G & L's from Leo's watch can still be bought for a reasonable price.
