Double Bass Underwood vs Shadow SH950

could anyone compare the Underwood pickup and it's newer copy, the SH950?
I have been trying out a dual sensor version of the Shadow and have found it pretty good.

i have both and the shadow is a bit fatter and smoother-but you have to make a lot of space for it to fit. when i use my underwood my D string gets lost when i use the shadow it's the A string. to me, the difference is not that big-just a bit more EQ with the underwood.

I've used both the Shadow and the Underwood. I, too, have experienced that the Shadow seems to have a fatter bottom end, and I prefer its sound to that of the Underwood. Both sound better with a preamp. However, for a wing mounted pickup, I think I prefer the K&K Bassmax, and, on my bass, it sounds the best of the three straight into the amp.
