Hello TBer's
Anyone know the best way to identify a unmarked P copy? I picked it up crazy cheap and rewired it & set it up. Itseems to be of decent quality but no markings or #'s anywhere....
The headstock looks Jay Turser.
I will add a photo when I get home if the app lets me.
I was hoping maybe a site that helps with this thru photos or something.
Thanks.

What I do know about it is it has a solid body and a transparant green high gloss finish showing wood grain, seems to have great fit & finish quality. The tone is very punchy and crisp more so than my Squier Standard series P (which is a frequent player and is the only other true P bass that I have to compare it to. I am more of a Jazz bass guy) Thanks to anyone who can help or even give an opinion.

Upon further investigation, it appears it may be a SX with the "hook" sanded off the headstock. Thats just alright with me. Most definatly a player. broke it in in extensive practices last few days.
