Just checking to see if anyone has tried these and what their experience was on bass recording. I have an opportunity to try one out at a reduced price. I have a multichannel setup, but wanted something in another location just for solo bass recording. Looking for a unit with a great s/n ratio. Thanks in advance.

They're nice, but only really worth the money if you're going to use the built-in DSP paired with UA plugins. If you're not going to use their plugs, I would grab an Apogee Duet (if you're running a Mac), or an RME Babyface.
