  1. Played my first Fender Jazz Bass today. It didnt say squier but was short scale (about 30 inches) did not like the sound. Didnt like the way the knobs felt. They were so loose when you turn them. Didnt sound good to me. I can't remember the model but I'll try to find it.

    Was it a floor model?

LOL.. there are lots of Fender Jazz basses out there. You'll have to do better than this for a review :)

I didn’t think Fender or Squier made a short scale Jazz bass?

I am no Fender historian, but I do not believe you played an actual Fender Jazz Bass.

Honestly couldn't think of a way to respond to 30" scale.

No you didn't. There aren't 30" scale Fender Jazz Basses.

  12. It was a fender. I was at the music store. It felt like a short scale compared to my other 3 basses
  13. Yeah it was a floor model
  14. It said fender on the head stock. It was at the music store. The scale felt really short. Almost like an ibanez mikro bass

Fender makes the Mustang and MusicMaster short scales. Their six string baritone Bass is short scale, but I know of no short scale Jazz Bass. Is there possibly a short scale Fender Japan Jazz model?

I went to the market and tasted the radishes, celery, and also some of the beet greens. It really put me off that they weren't at all like the Cool Ranch Doritos. I was pretty sure the guy wearing an apron intended to mislead me. I'm letting you know, just so you know now.
