Unpopular Opinion (Fender Jazz)

Played my first Fender Jazz Bass today. It didnt say squier but was short scale (about 30 inches) did not like the sound. Didnt like the way the knobs felt. They were so loose when you turn them. Didnt sound good to me. I can't remember the model but I'll try to find it.

Fender makes the Mustang and MusicMaster short scales. Their six string baritone Bass is short scale, but I know of no short scale Jazz Bass. Is there possibly a short scale Fender Japan Jazz model?

I went to the market and tasted the radishes, celery, and also some of the beet greens. It really put me off that they weren't at all like the Cool Ranch Doritos. I was pretty sure the guy wearing an apron intended to mislead me. I'm letting you know, just so you know now.
