Who are some of the guys that you feel are underrated or even lost to the annals of time? Let me start off with a couple:

    Dave Edwardson - Neurosis
    John Monte - M.O.D., Mindfunk,
Doug Ardito - Cellophane (sorry, I can't get into Puddle of Mudd)
Rich Castillo - Mind Over Four
Kevin Rutmanis - Cows, Melvins, Tomahawk

Wow a Glen Cornick reference! How about Jeffrey Hammond and John Glascock, too?

Tom Barney seems to be completely under the radar on TalkBass.

That's sort of the point. Great players all, but either underappreciated or gone entirely. ;)

    IMHO:
Matt Freeman - Operation Ivy, Rancid
    Jeff Ament - Pearl Jam
Muzz Skillings - Living Colour (what the heck ever happened to him, anyway?)

  18. Well, I think Matt gets his props. IMO. Anytime anyone mentions punk bassist, he always gets a mention.

Check out Glenn's time during the solo in Bouree... kinda bad. I think John Glascock was a total monster. That being said, Dave Pegg was darn good too!
