UPDATE on my parts build..hipshot kicks booty!

Like the title says…I've finished my bass for now, I briefly had a fender high mass bridge installed, removed that and installed the Hipshot kickass bridge instead which is slightly beefier and the ball ends of the strings are hidden(a nice touch!) the saddles have adjustable string spacing which is another neat touch I like, the brass inserts it comes with sound great!

However I did order a set of stainless steel saddle inserts for it that I may play around with in the future
I have included a picture of the stock bridge and the hipshot side by side so you can compare them both visually

Love the blue, love the pearl, love the blocks, and the maple board.
I often show various basses to my wife to get an opinion. She gave your bass 2 thumbs up.
But she asked a good question.... matching headstock?

Nothing fancy just a Squier CV jazz neck, no matching headstock, I don't even know how I'd pull that off lol

Very nice indeed. Hipshot makes good stuff, and their CS is excellent. The few times I've had issues or questions, they returned may calls within 24-48 hours max.

Maybe some day, don't use the xtender personally but maybe the tuners

Some more pictures in natural light this thing is a beauty in person , plays good, sounds bright which I like a lot, and plays and sounds just as good as it looks
Not even ashamed of it saying squier on the headstock even though it's not a squier bass, the neck is still of amazing quality I can't speak highly enough about it

It's a great bridge for sure! I have no second thoughts about it at all
