UPDATE on my rig!

ok so I finally got the Weber Mich wired up in my Bassman 135/Randall 2x15 rig, and it sounds huge! No farting in the lowend at all, and I really like the round tones with just enough mids, and highs that I'm getting from this cab. Tonight will be my first show with it. So I'll see how it goes

Well, how did it sound? How would you compare it to your 2xEA rig?

well the Randall cab definitely has alot more bottom end. The tone from the Randall is just alot rounder, and more natural sounding to me that the EA's. The EA's do cut, and have more detail in the sound, but there is just something about 15's that no other sized speaker can get.

I've come to the conclusion that a single 12" is my favorite alone... but I MUCH prefer a 12 and a 15 together.

the cab weighs 150lbs, and it did very well at the show! It's louder than my two EA CXL112's I've been using. OH, I'm selling the EA's to buy a deerly loved bass back. So please either buy them or pass the word along.

I played my rickenbacker 4003 through a 70's V4b and a Yamaha cab that was identical in design to that one... and it had killer tone. The owner was going to sell me the cab for 200$ CAN and I would have bought it had it not been so large.
