You might have to clear your browser...I JUST bought one 20 min ago, and now that I refreshed the page, it went back up again...

Sorry fellas! I have noticed that when inventory is 2 and below, it seems to revert back to full price. It did this with 2 items I was watching recently, a Schecter Raiden Elite and a Peavey Millenium jazz which was $132 but went back up to $240.

Ah there we go. That's weird though because I got those two prices within 2 minutes while reading this thread.

My order was cancelled due to out of stock , good luck guys, I hope u get a combo that's 500w

Well, just got a reply to the email I sent GearNuts Saturday morning questioning whether they had shipped the correct item based on the shipping weight:

Hi Jeff, You are correct. The Amazon site linked the amp head to our item ID for the bass cabinet. We are currently trying to stop the FedEx shipment and have it returned to us. Unfortunately, we can not send you the amp head for $349 because it retails for $699 and our cost is much more than $349. As soon as we have confirmation that the bass cabinet is coming back to us, we will issue a full refund. We're really sorry for this error.

Fido, I guess.

Interesting, so Amazon's software is off point and screws over other companies also...

I might be tempted to push the issue, if the product heading, description and specs were ALL for either the MB800 or the MB Fusion 800. But it is hard to feel cheated when it was clear from the start this wasn't just a wild excursion of the pricing algorithm. To borrow and adapt a line from Bob Schneider's song, Madeline, " Met A lover. Put my money on the long shot. [but if I get a full refund, I can't say I] Came out smelling like a dog..."

Well the according to the tracking details, the GK [DEL]MB Fusion 800[/DEL] 410 cab got all the way to the Fedex distribution facility about 2 miles from my house and now has a status of "Returning package to shipper".

I was hoping it wouldn't be sitting on my doorstep this afternoon for fear of getting it back to Fedex (wouldn't fit in my car), getting the seller to pay for return shipping, and waiting several extra days before getting my refund. Much cleaner this way.

Assuming I get my refund in a timely manner once they have the package back, I'd say I'm satisfied with the way Gear Nuts has handled the snafu - of course I'd have loved if they just sent me the MB800 for the trouble. They did state they wouldn't sell one for 349, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to ask what they would take for one, you know - given all my trouble.

My package is still in transit; Gear Nuts helpfully sent me an update that they're still trying to get it back. I'm a little farther away and delivery isn't scheduled for two more days. As long as I see a timely refund I'll be happy.

Edit--it got to the nearest facility and was redirected back to the seller. Waiting for the refund.

Mine is back in Fort Wayne, out for delivery. Curiously it has gained .8 lbs since the first shipping notification (now 68.9 lbs, was originally 68.1). I'll report back when I get my refund.

As for deals, the Eden WTDI is currently $134.99
