upgrade Aria pro II RSB Special I pickups?

i was thinking of upgrading my Aria pro II RSB Special-I bass pickups. it is n MB-IV Double coil pickup.

The Special I was the entry model for the RSB series. The RSB Deluxe has the MB-III and the RSB Deluxe II included the MB-JI. The RSB Deluxe 5 has MB-II pickups like those found on the SB Series.

If everything is working well and it is in good condition then I would keep it that way. Take the funds you have for this project and put it towards working your way up the APII product line or another bass that has the sound you like.

What to do really depends on circumstances. But generally any guitar (of value) that has been altered from its original state is going to end up being less desirable.

You should upload some pics.

Hi. I agree with ooo_unknown. If you are an Aria Pro II guy check out Kukuzo. He always has good basses. Ask about an Aria Pro II CSB Black n Gold. It is a single MB-III pup with fantastic tone. I have two and I am not parting with them. If you are willing to part with your Special I I might be open to help you with that.

I have an aria pro 2 rsb special 1. A friend of mine gave it to me years ago. I had the 6 string version an we were going to start a band but it didn't pan out. At the time Duran Duran and power station were popular and John Taylor was rocking the heck out of one, or a similar one. Any idea what they sell for?
