Upgrading an Ibanez RD707

Hello,
I have an Ibanez RD707 which I bought back in the early 90's. It's my only bass and I'm wanting to upgrade but I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone know what current model and series of Ibanez this bass would be comparable to? Just want to make sure I start out looking at basses that are a step above what I already have.
