Double Bass URGENT--Bottesini Tuning

Hello,
So I need to find a way to play the Allegro di Concerto 'alla Mendelssohn' in d min instead of e min. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find an orchestral tuning piano edition. I have recital in less than four weeks.

I don't know anyone who sells it. I had to order min from music minus one just to get a copy of it.

Best thing I can say is write it down a whole step your self.

do you need the piano part or the bass part transposed? if it's the bass part, i would say keep searching or write it yourself, but i can't imagine you would need a transposed bass part.

so assuming it's the piano part, you should ask your accompanist if they can play it transposed. if they accompany bass players often, this shouldn't be a problem for them. if it is a problem, maybe you can hire someone to put it in finale/sibelius for you, or again, you can do it yourself.

try a google search, and don't be afraid of some of the smaller publishing companies. i was in desperate need of the transposed part to sperger sonata 1, and found it through ISG. good luck!

I'm checking with doug mapp....what does Ludwin have or do they make custom transpositions?
