(Urgent) Help with Sterling Stingray Short Scale Pickup Upgrade!

Hello folks, I need urgent help, as I'm in the middle of shooting a video and need to fix this issue ASAP.
I am upgrading the original pickup to Nordstrand MM4.2 on my daughter Ellen's bass and ran into this problem.
The original pickup has three positions on the switcher, 1st position (Left) Parallel, middle position Single-coil, and 3rd position (right) Series.
Check the photos.

Each wire is soldered on a dedicated spot on the switcher, none of them are connected together.

On the Nordstrand, the red and white wires were connected/twisted to each other right out of the box, so I untwisted them and soldered them the same exact way as the original was. As the result, I lost the signal in the middle position. Left and right positions have sound, but now it's hard to tell the difference, as the original parallel position was significantly louder from the other positions.

This is the photo of the Nordstrand wires.

Now my questions:

Has anyone done this upgrade?
Would it be possible to have the same configuration (Parallel, Single-Coil, Series)?
If the same configuration is not an option, can someone help with this configuration?
Left Parallel, Middle Series, and right OFF(no signal)?

Thanks in advance!
Hovak

Yes, of course it is possible.
Please refer to the manufacturer for the correct wiring diagrams: Pickup Wiring Diagrams and Schematics
1: Confirm that the new pickup is working. To do so you can start by checking the resistance between the correct pairwise wires.
2: Confirm original pickup with the original wiring is working.
If this is the case the problem is in your wiring of the new pickup, if not it's somewhere else.

Did you get this issue solved? I've been looking to replace the pickup in mine and was also curious about if the quality of sound was improved? Do you like the new pickup better? THanks in advance for the help
