USA Geddy Lee fender Jazz

Had A question for any USA Fender Geddy Lee Jazz bassist, I noticed on my strings the "A" string to the "D" string is a wider gap/distance and makes it a little harder to jump from those strings and I assume it might be a faulty badass bridge they come with. I looked bass all over and came to that conclusion, maybe I should take a chance and buy another badass bridge? anybody have this problem? I have seen other pics and a lot don't seem like they have that gap problem but some do anybody?

FWIW, I'll measure it, here in a bit. You just want between the A and D, or all?
between the A and D on mine the distance is 4.5 marks more on my guitar measuring tool than E to A and D to G I think if the A string was those 4 marks closer to the A string it would be perfect.

I am not sure what 4.5 marks means. You should have 19.5mm or about 3/4 of an inch at the bridge. No reason for those to be out of whack all of a sudden. Did you buy the bass like that?
Did you adjust your saddle height on on side and not the other? Perhaps a picture would allow further help.
it came like that and after jaming my rickenbacker...most excellent bass BTW I noticed my geddy lee felt more of a struggle to play then noticed the string width so i went ahead and found a leo quan badass bass bridge II and then I called fender to confirm it would fit my USA geddy lee jazz and they said it would also considering geddys bass was designed from his 72 bass he had so they said it should be a perfect fit. hope so, I just ordered it :)

19 mm between both the E and A, and the D and G, and lo and behold...

... 20.5 mm between the A and D.

More importantly, there was no one... at the bridge.
thats about close to what I got.. maybe a little more between my A and D I wonder why they do that..I had a friend with all strings measured across almost perfectly even...I played that bass to..it was smooth I hope this new leo Quan badass II bridge will work out nicely. fender guy at fender said it should
