Actually, the market for big cabinets is getting pretty specialized, mostly for the big tours. I have designed a few (much) bigger non-production Subway type cabinets for such applications, the problem is that they wouldn't sell in enough volume to make any sense at all. Kind of a bummer for me, I enjoy doing pro touring cabinet designs which are few and far between these days.
A couple years ago, a 5410 sat in the Stockton Music Go Round for several months. They were basically giving it away. I thought about it for about a minute…
Just reporting in. I’ve spent not enough time with the 800D and the SW212. Very happy! The cab is more mid focused, but I love it.
I saw Rex Brown & Pantera a few months ago with his newer monster Mesa rig.

Those were built like the Subway cabinets, same material but sealed w/ a ceramic 10" driver, going after the more classic SVT tone. It uses a similar cone style and surround as the Subway 10's (unlike the original Ampeg style Eminence drivers), purely to compliment what Rex was looking for. I actually designed a Neo version of this that came in at about 90 lbs, this one is about 115 lbs give or take.
The Neo version was determined to be too expensive (~$3k for an 810 makes players understandably uncomfortable) and the ceramic version wasn't special or light enough to fit the Subway theme. To tool up for something like this, there has to be real demand... and then there's the issue of oversize, overweight shipping costs on top of everything else.
That is a monster rig for sure, and I do enjoy projects like this, but it's an entirely different market too. I have to be both agile and understanding about the markets I am designing into.

Sometimes that mid focus really helps when you get in the band context.
At any rate, it's better to have it and dial it back a bit (or boost the lows and highs), than to try to add in the right flavor of mids for a gig.
The Deep switch and HPF (and possibly Bright switch) may be your best friends.

The voicing of the various Subway cabinets considers their primary use being real world gigging cabinets, at home on larger stages and venues but still appropriate for smaller gigs. They are not voiced for the "bedroom" tone, that usually becomes problematic when gigging with a band.
Even at 115 lbs, thats quite a bit difference from my old standard Powerhouse 810 which was 173 lbs!
But wow, 90 lbs would sure be something!!!!!
Barefaced makes an 810 at 79 lbs. But its £2399, which is $3236 US before bank and exchange fees and shipping comes into play, and import fees.

I am still on the fence as to which SW cab to pair with the 800, but I found this guy used at Sweetwater and couldn’t pass it up for the price and it was nearly in new condition. Yet to gig it, but I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.

I haven’t been able to compare the two yet, but have only read that the powerhouse line was voiced more mid forward than the Subways. Is that pretty accurate? I do seem to like more aggressive midrange tone in my current band setup.
Fantastic cab. Still wish I hadn't sold mine. But with also two PH212's in my stable it didnt get out much.
But if another one turns up local, I'll buy it again

My gig next week will just need a single 12 so I won’t be able to use the 412 until the next weekend unfortunately, but I can’t wait to see what it can do with the 800d. I only used my 810 five or six times last year, but I know if I get rid of it I’ll wish I hadn’t. Plus it will leave a hole in my amp wall! (Disregard the kids toys, I keep my cabinets in the basement and we are purging kids toys!)
