There are at least 3-4 classic vibe jazzes on ebay for over $700! That seems crazy. I know they don't make them in white anymore but that still seems really high.

Not worth it. They're nice instruments, and they seem to hold their resale value well being on the budget side already, but double the price is ridiculous. I can buy a nicer Mexican Classic Series Jazz bass brand new for that price.

There's a swarm of Japanese sellers on eBay who ask crazy prices for readily available used basses.

I just watched one sell for less than $200...another is hovering at $149....3 days left.....keep looking ! Or look a little harder !

With these --and others --the country of origin is usually JPN, and it isn't limited to Fender/Squier.
Wasn't fishing for a sale - not even decided for sure, plus being in the UK, Talkbass is one of the worst places for me to try and sell it anyway!
