Used Schecter Model T Value?

Schecters in general tend to go between $200-400 in used condition, no matter the model.
The EMGs were a stock pickup on the early ones. Great basses!
I'd try to get it for $200-250, if it were me.

With the EMG's it may be the DeLeo "sig" model, which will have the signature and stone temple pilots on the back of the headstock.

Some model T's came with Duncan "designed" pickups. I didn't care much for them. One equipped with Duncan Basslines would obviously be a step up.

That said, model T's with the 9v EMG setup sound gigantic. I'd value the EMG sig model a bit higher than the others.

If my gold one didn't weigh 10 lbs, I'd still have it. Huge sound, sweet player.

I have a 2010 with Duncan Basslines and that baby's a beast! My guitarist (who I have to admit has a VERY good ear) said its his favorite out of my stable.
I've never played one with EMG's-I would think thats a killer combo!
I'd probably max out at $300 but that also depends on condition, case or gigbag, etc.

Oh I guess it's just a regular Model T, then. I wonder if the active circuit is the only difference. It's kind of funny that the active version would be his signature, as he switched back to passive shortly after endorsing the Model T.

I got my Robert DeLeo sig for 300$. They are amazing basses. The mary kay finish ones are pretty hard to find. Took me about 3 years to track mine down. With a good setup and some descent pups these things contend with basses 5x as much easily. Even at 450$ its still a good price for an awesome bass like that. I thought the Model T was DeLeo's signature model?

I had two model t's with duncan designed pickups and they both had ground problems, i understand one being a single coil and a little but both basses. I would hope the active EMGs would be a little better, anyone else have this problem?

No ground probs with my duncan designed one, just thin sounding pups. Fail.

Basses with an active EMG setup are very quiet (at least every one I've had was silent). EMG is famous for that.

This is Schecter Model T, its the second I have owned in the same wood and color combo. I got this one off of the guitar center website with help from a TBer. I was expecting the awful Duncan Design pickups but was surprised when it arrived they were actually Dimarzio's. I am giving serious thought to getting EMG's put in this bass as well as a refinish in another color. I would love to own one of the Robert DeLeo signature ones, depending on the color.
