just want to get some opinions on where do you normally get your used pedals apart from TB or craigslist?

Then there's sites for stores like Music-Go-Round. But personally, I prefer getting them from TalkBass, Craigslist, or local shops.

same here too .. tb's so far the easiest and trusted service i used so far .. just that sometimes .. the pedals that i want is not currently up for sale

Since you're in the Bay Area... ever been to Starving Musician?

They've got a great selection of new, used, and boutique effects. At least, the Santa Cruz and Berkeley ones do. Oddly enough, I haven't been to their main location in San Jose, and I was born and raised there!
